Blue skies over Foxford again this morning. Its not something we should complain about but I do feel sorry for anyone who has a weeks Salmon fishing booked and is struggling with the weather. It’s not all doom and gloom either and I know of two groups who have had salmon in the past few days. These anglers have been fishing early in the morning and late in the evening while sight seeing and exploring a few beaches for trout in between. A sensible approach and they will have had a nice holiday.  It’s different for anyone within reasonable driving distance of the Moy and most of these anglers are staying at home and waiting for conditions to change, also a sensible approach. Change they will but for now we are facing another day of sunshine and by the time you read this the morning session will be over, the best chance of a salmon will be in the late evening and again some of the deeper parts of the river will be the best places to try, Prawn will be the best method.
