A grey ominous sky over Foxford this morning, it looks like a rough day ahead. On a brighter note, this is what we need to improve fishing both on the Rivers and Loughs where fish have been sulking for weeks now. Following yesterday mornings rain the Moy is already up a little, now at 0.8m at Ballylahan bridge. Assuming we do get todays heavy rain I would expect the river to be big and brown tomorrow. By Tuesday it should be back in reasonable fishing order and we should see fish that have been lying in the tidal waters moving. Of course, this is all subject to what nature decides to do. For today, Spin and worm will be the best methods.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
