High cloud, a light breeze and no rain, its a nice morning for fishing in Foxford. The river is looking good, now at 0.56m at Ballylahan bridge. Today could be a good day for bubble and fly, at least while these conditions hold. There are reports of a few Grilse showing up in the last few days. For anyone looking for some trout fishing this coming week should see some good opportunities on Lough Conn. Congratulations to the Foxford Angling Club members who fished against Westport anglers in the “John Gallagher memorial cup” competition on Lough Mask yesterday. Foxford winning the cup for the fourth year in a row.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 Noon and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning.
