An overcast and breezy morning in Foxford, it looks like we will have some rain today and in the coming days. Hopefully this will cool things down a little. While the Minister for fisheries has panicked and stopped fishing on the State fisheries due to water temperatures and East Mayo Anglers have followed suit, the other fisheries on the Moy are taking a more holistic and sensible view of the situation and are remaining open. Anglers on the Rinnanney fishery yesterday enjoyed good sport and reported seeing lots of fresh fish running. For today all methods will work and with the breeze it should be particularly good for spinning and bubble and fly. The shop is open today from 8am to noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
