A grey drizzly morning in Foxford. The river peaked at 1.1m yesterday afternoon, it started to fall but got a second lift later in the evening. It is now at just over 1.1m again. It will creep up for the next few hours. As would be expected it was very brown yesterday and that colour will still be in it today. Reports from along the river were that anglers were seeing a few fish moving. Subject to no further rainfall we should see water conditions improve by later today and tomorrow is promising. For today worm will be the best method. The shop is open from 8am to Noon this morning and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.

An ominous looking red sky over Foxford this morning. Its not bad yet but I have a feeling this is the calm before the storm.
