A blanket of grey cloud over Foxford this morning, haven’t seen that in a while. Its not going to make a lot of rain but we will have some nasty showers some of which could be Hail. The change in wind direction and the arrival of some cloud cover has created nicer fishing conditions which have already brought a few extra anglers onto the banks of the Moy.  Upstream of Foxford is very much in need of fresh water but from Foxford downstream conditions are very nice. I was speaking to a group of anglers last night who fished at Pontoon bridge yesterday and had seen three fish show as they moved through to Lough Conn. A good sign that fish are still entering the system. For today, all methods are worth a try.
