Clear skies and a bit of sunshine with a cool east breeze again in Foxford this morning. The river is in great condition and the first salmon of the season in the town was taken on the fly, downstream of the bridge yesterday. More will follow as water levels are ideal for fish to lie in this area. Gannons, Armstrongs and Rinnanney fisheries will all be worth a try in the coming weeks. The shop is open from 8am to Noon today and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
