A little bit of mist around Foxford this morning, apart from that it’s looking like a nice day ahead. The river is still high but falling, now at 1.43m at Ballylahan bridge. It will continue to drop during the day but with the land now saturated and the level of the loughs up it will not fall as fast as last weeks flood. There will still be colour in the water and it will be a day for spin and worm fishing. We have a small issue in the shop, we did not foresee the demand for worms and neglected to get a supply for the weekend. We will run out of worms in the early part of the day today, apologies in advance for the inconvenience.
