A blue sky over Foxford, summer could be back. The river came up a little yesterday peaking at 0.87 at Ballylahan bridge. It is now at 0.77m and should be suitable for all methods. Looking at the sky, it is going to be a day for bait fishing. Prawn or worm in some of the deeper water downstream of Foxford will be the way to go. We have had good reports of fish moving in the past few days and some nice Grilse in the five to seven pound bracket have been taken. If it does stay bright, the late evening will be worth trying but bring the midge repellent.
