A damp misty morning in Foxford. The river is now at 0.44m at Ballylahan bridge but will soon start to creep up. Its difficult to say how much it will rise. We did have some heavy rain yesterday evening and there appears to have been more overnight. I would expect a rise in levels but not a big flood. Reports of a few more Grilse taken yesterday and one local angler reported seeing a good number of fish moving at the back of the town in the mid afternoon. At the moment it will be suitable for all methods but as the river starts to creep up later today spinning should work well.
