A wet morning in Foxford and it looks like its been raining for a while now. The river has already started to creep up and is at 0.9m at Ballylahan bridge. I think by evening it will be well up. Reasonable reports of fish yesterday, Armstrongs fishery, Rinnanney and Knockmore were the areas that seemed to fish best. For anyone looking for an alternative to the Moy today Lough Conn is fishing well for trout and there’s also a lot of Salmon out there, contact Gerry Murphy for boat hire on 0872390409.

Note: The shop will be closed today from 10.30 am. We will re open at 8am tomorrow morning.
