A heavy thunder shower at the moment in Foxford. The forecast is for these showers to continue throughout the day. with a bit of luck some of them will fall in the hills and send a little bit of fresh water down through the system. Nothing spectacular happened on the river over the weekend, a few fish taken here and there. Prawn and Bubble and fly been the best methods. Lough Conn is still fishing very well for trout. Foxford Angling Club held a competition there yesterday and all who fished reported great lively sport with trout taking Mayfly patterns.
