A dry cloudy morning in Foxford, possibility of some showers. While angler numbers were low on the river over the weekend there appears to be some more action. We got reasonable catch reports, among them an 11lb Autumn fish and one angler having five salmon on the fly. The river is in reasonably good condition, 0.77m at Ballylahan bridge and it has cleared out well. Suitable for all methods. The forecast is for some better weather later in the week and I even heard an Indian summer mentioned. This will be good for the river and should see the season end on a high note.
