A light hazy cloud over Foxford, it looks like it will burn off as the morning moves on. The forecast is for a few very hot days. Thankfully, our area is to be the coolest. Its not Salmon fishing weather really. There are a few guys fishing in the early morning and late evening but overall its a struggle. There’s plenty of salmon in the system and its great to see them, I think we will have to wait for fresh water to catch them. There are alternatives, the loughs are still fishing well for Brown trout and there’s a good chance of a sea trout from any of the beaches, there’s also Mackerel showing up along the coast. Lots to do if you want a few hours fishing.

P.J with a beautiful Brownie from Lough Conn, 9pm last night. There are alternatives to Salmon Fishing
