A dry morning with a nice breeze in Foxford, it looks like a good day ahead. The river is now at 0.44m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. The little bit of fresh water in the past few days should be enough to liven the resident fish up a little. I don’t expect many fresh fish to run until we get a proper flood. Sunday looks like the next chance for some proper rain. For today spinning should work and prawn will also be worth a try.
