A dry morning in Foxford. The river peaked at 0.8m at Ballylahan bridge yesterday and is now back down to 0.35m. As expected the water was coloured. Today will be different and I would expect to hear of fish taken on all methods. For anyone waiting to try the fly, East Mayo Anglers water will be worth a try. Around Foxford and further down stream, spinning should work.
