A dull morning in Foxford. The heaviest of the rain seems to have passed for now. We did have some persistent heavy rain yesterday evening. This will have an effect on levels today. The river is now at 1.28m at Ballylahan bridge and will probably be at the 1.5m mark by this afternoon. Its not ideal from a salmon angling point of view. Storm Dave looks on track give us a battering tomorrow. It depends on how wet that is whether Sunday will be worth a try or not. We will have to wait and see.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 Noon and 2pm (14.00h) to 6pm (18.00h)
