A dark morning in Foxford and it has been raining recently, everything looks wet. I would say we had a reasonable fall of rain in the early hours but i don’t think it will have a major effect on todays angling. The water is now at 0.65m at Ballylahan bridge, it will probably creep up later in the day.  Good reports from all along the river yesterday and fish seem to have been taken on all methods. Prawn was the most successful bait yesterday and the early part of today at least will be the same.
