A cool still morning in Foxford, there’s a noticeable drop in the temperature. The river is now at 0.88m at Ballylahan bridge and will be suitable for all methods. We are now into the last week of the 2025 salmon season and hopefully it will go out on a high note. With no rain forecast, water conditions should continue to improve. For anyone on the river today, following the recent floods there should be a good number of fish in the upper parts of the river.
