A cool dark morning in Foxford and it looks like there is more rain on the way. The river is already well up, 1.47m at Ballylahan bridge. it has leveled for now. The problem is that todays rain will go straight into the system and will rise levels again very quickly. We will have to wait and see what actually happens. For today, worm will be the best method and the fisheries downstream will be the best places to try. I’m predicting that it will be a difficult weekend for salmon angling.
