A dry morning with a little bit of blue sky in Foxford, a big change from yesterday. We had some heavy rain yesterday and the river is now well up, 1.2m at Ballylahan bridge and it will possibly rise for another while. The water will be coloured today but by late this evening or tomorrow morning it should be in great condition. This is the water we have been waiting for and I have a feeling that there will be a few bosses wondering where their staff are over the next few days. For today, worm will be the best method and this is likely to be the case in the early part of tomorrow as well, although it will run off fast. Looking at the forecasts we should have some more rain Friday which will make for a good weekend.
