Not quite so bright in Foxford this morning and we have a little bit of high cloud with a gentle breeze. It’s not a bad morning for fishing. Yesterday turned out as promised, bright and sunny and while there were fish taken it was difficult. Good reports of fish moving and there appears to be good numbers of Grilse in the Foxford area. Upstream in East Mayo and upper Cloongee the water levels are getting low, fish will still move into these areas but in bright conditions they will be difficult to tempt. I would watch out for a change in weather which we could see over the weekend, then bubble and fly and light spinners will work in these shallower places. For today, Prawn fishing in some of the deeper stretches will be the best method.
