A dull grey morning in Foxford. We had a considerable amount of rain from yesterday afternoon and through the night and it looks like we will have more showers today. This is not ideal for the weekend ahead, water levels will be rising for most of the day today. Currently the level at Ballylahan bridge is 0.83m, I would expect that to be over the 1m mark very soon. I will update this later in the day when I have an idea of whats happening.

@18.20 The river has crept up all day and is now very coloured in Foxford. It has peaked at 1.73m at Ballylahan bridge. It will start to fall over night and should be dropping well by morning. It will still be high and the colour will not be gone. Tomorrow will be a day for worm and spin. We have one slight issue in the shop. We underestimated demand for worms and have been caught by this flood, we will run out of worms in the early part of tomorrow and unfortunately cannot get a fresh supply until early next week. Apologies in advance .
