A wet and windy morning in Foxford and it looks like it will continue. The rain will be heavy up to mid day and should lighten to mist and showers at that point, it will however be enough to rise the river again. At the moment the river is at 1.22m at Ballylahan bridge and will be suitable for spin and worm fishing. As expected, the past few days have been quiet on the river, we did hear of a few fish taken but nothing major. At this point its a matter of grabbing a few hours when conditions permit which is difficult for most people. The week ahead looks unsettled but hopefully by the weekend we will see some better weather and perhaps better conditions for fishing. The shop is open today from 8am to Noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
