A bright dry morning in Foxford, it looks like another nice day ahead. Not ideal fishing weather but nice to see temperatures coming up a little, this can only do good for trout angling on the Loughs. The river is now down to 0.37m at Ballylahan bridge, still holding a good spring level through Foxford. We had reasonable reports from the river yesterday and again there were some beautiful fish caught. For today the best of the fishing will be either early morning or late evening. Bait fishing on some of the deeper pats will be best. We will be closing the shop at Noon today and tomorrow Monday.
