Another dry (nice) morning in Foxford, not ideal angling weather. The river is going low up stream, 0.35m at Ballylahan bridge this morning. Plenty of water through Foxford and further down stream. The best areas for the next couple of days will most likely be in this area. Best methods will be worm and prawn. Looking ahead the weather forecast for Saturday is promising, see below

“We’ll see a change on Saturday, it’ll be a largely cloudy day with light rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in light variable breezes, the higher values in the east this time and it won’t be cold overnight, temperatures will stop falling at 7 to 9 degrees.”

Blue sky and sunshine in Foxford, its not even 7.30 am yet. It looks like a scorcher of a day ahead. As we all know,
