Mike with a nice 6lb Grilse from Foxford 9pm 06/07/2021

Slightly brighter in Foxford this morning. Still a little bit of mist and drizzle hanging about after what turned out to be a wet day yesterday. The river is up again this morning, now at 1.36m at Ballylahan bridge it will probably creep for another few hours and peak somewhere about 1.5m. Not ideal for anyone planning a fly fishing trip but still OK for spin and worm. Good reports of catches from all over the river yesterday and as the water settles in the next few days the good fishing should continue. It could be Friday or Saturday before its back to decent fly fishing order.
