The fishing remained exceptionally good for the past week, with the largest numbers of fish being landed so far this season. The Foxford salmon anglers waters had 216 salmon “Reported” while the East Mayo Anglers water accounted for another 139 fish, while exact figures are difficult to get, all of the other fisheries around Foxford have had great fishing. The weather has turned to bright sunshine and humid, which does not help angling, there is a forecast of some change by midweek, there is nice levels of water in the system and the outlook for later in the week is good..
