Saturday 18th June

The Water remains in good condition and while it is falling away slowly, there is plenty of water to allow fish to move freely. There are good numbers of Grillse running the River daily and there is still the odd fresh springer also. The best reports yesterday were from the Fisheries upstream of Foxford with Bakers, Cloongee and East Mayo waters all producing reasonable numbers of fish, downstream of the town had mixed fishing with some anglers having good fishing, mainly on the spinner..
