Wednesday 08/06/2022

A drizzly morning with a nice SW breeze in Foxford. It should be a reasonably good day for fishing. Some more rain forecast for later in the day. Reports from yesterday were good and quite a few anglers reported catches. There seems to be a good number of Grilse throughout the system. For today Bubble and fly on either Cloongee or East Mayo Anglers fisheries will be well worth a try. Prawn will work on the fisheries downstream of Foxford.

Update at 17.00  We have had a reasonable amount of rain today, it has eased in the past couple of hours and looks like it is dying out. The river will come up over night. I would not be expecting a big flood but perhaps enough to liven things up.
