A dull but nice morning in Foxford. The river is at 0.76m at Ballylahan bridge and looks good for all methods. The first Salmon of the season was taken on Monday afternoon. It was caught above the old fish traps in Ballina. It most likely did not come alone and at this stage there should be a few fish scattered throughout the system.
