A slightly cloudier morning in Foxford and the forecast is for cloud and some drizzle later today. It is certainly cooler this morning. I was at the river a while ago and spotted a couple of fish showing at the back of the town, the first I’ve seen in a few days. This might be a sign of life coming back into the Salmon angling.  September is normally a pretty good month on the Moy and hopefully this year will be no different. Please remember that from the 1st of September anglers are permitted to take one salmon per day. For today prawn and bubble and fly will be the best methods.
