Tuesday 24/07/18

Yesterday turned into a bright afternoon but there was a few fish taken in the early part of the day (see pic below). Bubble and fly been the best method. This morning has started with a nice breeze and some cloud. The rain forecast for Wed night has now been changed to Thursday! lets see. For anyone who has the opportunity it is an interesting time to study the river. I spent an hour yesterday evening watching a grilse dart around a pool, nice to see.

Nicholas and Jean-Jacques with two from Cloongee yesterday. This was Nicholas’s first ever Salmon.
