A dull morning in Foxford, looks like drizzle or misty rain is on the way. The river is now at 0.25m at Ballylahan bridge. There are still some fresh Grilse making their way up into the East Mayo waters but most of the fishing is now concentrated downstream of Cloongee, in the deeper water. We have some rain forecast in the coming days and if we do get a decent rise in water levels there will be some interesting fishing. For today, Prawn will be the best method.
