A dry morning so far in Foxford but it looks like we are heading for some nasty weather over the next few days as storm Kathleen approaches. I reported yesterday that the first salmon of the season had been taken on Monday afternoon in Ballina, this was in incorrect. We are still waiting for the first fish of the season. The river is now at 0.73m at Ballylahan bridge and is in good condition for all methods. Its not possible to predict what will happen with water levels for the weekend, we just have to wait and see what comes.
