A few heavy showers overnight and a damp morning in Foxford. The river is now at 0.4m at Ballylahan bridge. It should be in good condition today. The forecast is for some heavy rain later in the morning and a possibility of thunder later in the day. This will bring more rain for the afternoon. Given this forecast, tomorrow is not looking great for salmon fishing on the Moy, the river will most likely be rising and getting coloured. For anyone heading out today, all methods are worth a try but spinning will be the best.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
