A nice fishing morning in Foxford. Following some heavy downpours yesterday afternoon the river has crept up by a few centimeters, nothing major. It is now at 0.62m at Ballylahan bridge and may creep for another while but it will not adversely effect angling. A few good reports yesterday and the first salmon of the season was taken in Foxford town which is a good indication that levels are coming right and fish are slowing down a little. The shop is open until Noon today and will re open at 8 am on Tuesday morning.
