A nice morning in Foxford and the river is coming back into nice condition. It is now down to 0.63m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. We had a few more anglers on the river yesterday and as expected reports were better. Nearly all anglers who fished from Foxford downstream reported seeing good numbers of fish. One German visitor who has been fishing for a week now said he saw over 20 salmon showing in an hour, the most he has seen all week. Prawn, worm and spinning were the best methods. Things should continue to improve as we move through September. The shop is open from 8am to Noon today and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning.
