A grey and dull  morning with a fresh breeze in Foxford. Some rain forecast throughout the day with the possibility of heavy showers in the afternoon, all well needed from an angling point of view. If we do get a rise in levels there’s a lot of fish throughout the system and fishing should be quite good. For today it will be bubble and fly, prawn and spinning with small baits.  If we get any substantial rain I will update here this evening.

Update @17.30 We have not had any substantial rain in Foxford, In the past half an hour we have had a few showers which may hopefully develop. There has been some rain in the Sligo area which could well have an effect on levels but we will not know this before morning.
