A misty morning with a light breeze in Foxford. The river is at 0.44m at Ballylahan bridge. Today will be a day for bubble and fly, the wind will increase as the day progresses and conditions should be ideal. I think that in the next few days we will start to see the first of the Grilse run arriving. No harm to try a few smaller sized fly patterns, a size 14 Wilkinson or Bann special could do the trick 😉.
