A dull morning in Foxford. It looks like another humid day ahead. Yesterday turned into one of those thundery days that gives one a headache and the rain did not materialise, just a few showers. Salmon fishing is difficult and although there are plenty of salmon throughout the system they are not in the humour to take. It will happen but we have to wait and for now it will be the occasional while where conditions change or fall right for a short period. Its a matter of being in the right place at the right moment. It’s not just salmon that are not cooperating, the trout are lying low as well. For anyone that is trying the river today, Prawn will be the best method.
