A little bit of blue in the sky over Foxford this morning, still breezy. The river came up yesterday afternoon, peaking at 1.36m and now down to 1.16m at Ballylahan bridge. It will be in nice condition for spin and worm today. The forecast does not give a lot of rain in the coming days so we should have excellent water conditions for the weekend. I would expect to see some more grilse arriving as well. One little tip worth taking on board is that water levels are high for the time of year. When spinning it would be advisable to use the heaviest spinners possible especially from Foxford downstream.
