Overcast with the sun trying to break through in Foxford this morning. The river continued creeping up throughout the day yesterday and by afternoon was up by nearly 25cm. It remained fishable and the extra water was not an issue. It is falling again today and is now at 0.73m at Ballylahan bridge, suitable for all methods. With good conditions and anglers reporting seeing fish moving It looks promising for the weekend on the river. We do have a forecast for some heavy showers later this evening, keep an eye on them. I would expect that trout fishing on the Loughs will improve greatly now that we are seeing rising temperatures and falling water levels. The shop is open all day today and up to Noon tomorrow Sunday, we will re open on Tuesday morning at 8am.
