Yesterdays rain has had very little effect on water levels so far. It is now at 0.49m at Ballylahan bridge. I think it will creep up more as the day goes on but for now it is suitable for all methods. Spinning will be best this morning.

The river has crept up a few inches overnight (now at 0.42m at Ballylahan bridge) and will most likely rise by a few more inches as the day goes on. This will improve fishing in the next few days. Anyone spinning today will be in with a good chance of success.
A few showers promised this morning but these should clear as the day goes on. very few anglers on the river yesterday. The best report was of one angler hooking 3 salmon on prawn downstream of Foxford. Conditions are good for bubble and fly and prawn.

A cool morning in Foxford. The river is at 0.36m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. Fly, Bubble and fly and prawn will be the best methods. Still very little angling activity but as schools re open we would expect to see more anglers on the river bank.
