26/06/2021 The Moy upstream of Foxford , very still and not ideal fishing conditions but a few salmon Splashing about

Good morning from a bright and sunny Foxford. Not an ideal morning for fishing. The river is low but in nice order. It reached 0.5 at Ballylahan yesterday and is now at 0.35m. Good reports of Grilse running in the past 48 hours, lots of fish been seen moving through Foxford. Quite a few been caught throughout the river and on Lough Conn. It seems that the hint of fresh water has encouraged some of the fish lying in the tidal stretches to run. Sun will be the biggest problem today and it looks like a day for the deeper parts of the river using prawn or worm.
