Another foggy morning along the Moy. We had some rain last night but not enough to have a big effect on levels. The river is now at 0.52m at Ballylahan bridge and still suitable for all methods. Both angling effort and catches have been low in the past few days. This is likely to be the trend as we head toward the middle of August. Angling normally picks up again in September and this year with the bumper run of fish I would expect the season to finish on a high. For today prawn will be the best method, bubble and fly if we have some cloud cover.
